From Part-Time to Purpose-Led CEO: Preparing for Rapid Growth

November 17, 20258 min read

Series: Journey of an Entrepreneur... From Chaos to CEO (Part 1)

There’s a moment in business where you feel the gears shift

Picture this: You’ve been building, refining, believing. Then… growth comes. Not with warning signs and gentle nudges, but with full force.

That’s what happened to me. It was January, February, and March 2025. I’d already been in business for over a year, building steadily alongside my part-time job. I loved it. I was grounded. I was ready. Or so I thought.

Then, everything expanded. Triple the revenue. Overflowing inbox. Referrals from clients, friends, and new people finding me in the online tech space. Clients who I had done full builds on their all-in-one platform wanted ongoing support. The pace was electric… and confronting.

I was still working solo.

When the Chaos Hits (And You’re Still the Boss)

I won’t dress it up. There was chaos. Not victim-chaos. Boss chaos. That kind of energetic bottleneck where your outer growth doesn’t match your slower-growing CEO mindset Level and your backend capacity.

I was onboarding new clients, answering support requests, managing projects, building inside Tekmatix (an all-in-one platform built on GHL which has many extra features) and trying to hold every moving piece with care and precision. (Control issues lol… anyone can relate?)

And at the same time, I was hiring. Quickly.

And that’s where I met a different kind of edge.

Not everyone I brought in was the right fit. Some were brilliant, aligned, and ready to roll. Others needed deep shadowing, multiple corrections, and energetic recalibration. And it wasn’t their fault… it was the speed…

I quickly learned that SUCCESS LOVES SPEED! I was ready for speed, and it required for me to let go of control, let go of doing it all myself, and step into delegating mode to cope with that speed! That was actually really hard for me at the time.

That’s the part no one tells you: Learn to delegate properly (with a scaling system and LOTS of SOPs) and know your numbers!

I didn’t know (truly) how to fully let go without compromising the experience, which is one of the things I learn on the spot. Delegating is almost an art; usually, we carry everything in our heads, and extracting all that knowledge, vision, values, even if we think we don’t. I learn that during the full-on growth period… Hence the 18-hour days, 7 days a week… Even if you just remember that part from this blog, you are already miles ahead lol!

Not knowing my numbers? That hits differently when I was moving a big amount of income and expenses… Money coming in, money coming out and learning to hold the space energetically for this movement for all that money coming in… I tell you that I burst my ‘Money Ceiling’ a few times this year in a way that it is hard to explain lol! I made during that time in 3 months more than I made the whole year before working full-time.

Having no SOPs and even an induction self-paced course for the team onboarding? That’s a crisis when I was onboarding three new team members in a week during the peak of my growth.

Suddenly, my beautiful business, which was a beast ready to take off like a rocket, and there I was… still trying to control everything ahahaah! I was my own bottleneck at the time. I needed to grow and become the new CEO identity and frequency my business needed to keep growing!

I did surround myself with amazing mentors, coaches, and business professionals who had achieved the same level of success I wanted to achieve… Still am! And an amazing circle of heart-led friends, also on the same journey one way or another, with whom we are holding space for each other, growing together and being there for one another. We share our visions, co-work, have fun along the way and are each other's best cheerleaders, filling our hearts with joy, love and happiness in so many ways. Found those people for yourself too; it really makes the journey amazing too!

What I Would Say to My Past Self... Through the Eyes of the Woman and CEO I Am Now

I see her. January me. The woman holding the vision with the biggest heart, wanting to make an impact on people’s lives. Managing projects. Building workflows. The wave was rising, clients flowing in, the team starting to form, the pace accelerating. She was doing everything from a one-woman show mindset, already sensing the shift but not fully anchored into it yet.

If I could sit beside her, I’d say:

  • "Before it gets busy, zoom out. Take a deep breath. Look clearly at where your energy is leading your business. Your energy is sacred. Protect it. Invest it in the right spaces.

  • Take the time to get clear on what tasks you need to release. Start writing them down now, not later. The sooner you know what to delegate, the faster you can move back into the growth lane.

  • Ask yourself: what kind of support do I truly need? What is the role that will unlock more flow? You don’t need to figure it all out before hiring, and hire with the intention of solving real problems, not just relieving pressure.

  • Take the time to learn how to hire the right people for your energy, your business and your vision.

I’ve since done an amazing NLP 7-day training that now helps me deeply understand people’s processing systems. It literally changed my life! And it changed how I hire. I’ll share more of that in a future blog.

  • Prepare your SOPs in real-time. When you do a task, record it. Systemise as you go. This becomes your onboarding gold later.

  • And ensure your platform is built to scale. If someone enquired tomorrow, would your system:

  • Send an automatic email?

  • Book them into your calendar?

  • Deliver their onboarding or course access?

If the answer is no, that’s your sign. You don’t need to be up at 3 am answering emails just to show you care. Let your systems reflect the level of care you hold.

  • And beyond the systems, take care of you. Self-love, nourishment, rest, movement. You are the energetic container for your business. Your outer world reflects your inner world.

  • Fill your cup. Protect your frequency. Let your nervous system lead with clarity, not urgency.

  • Keep your frequency, your vibration, your mindset at a high level. There will be many identity shifts!

  • This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present with what’s unfolding. You’ve already decided where you’re headed. Now it’s time to build the support that will take you there.”

Why I’m Sharing This With You

I feel called to share my story, what it actually felt like to be in the thick of growth. The expansion. The chaos. The identity shift that happens when my business took off and suddenly… realising I can’t build it the same way anymore.

From my experience, I know I’m not the only one who’s moved through this. Many CEOs I’ve spoken with, mentors, friends, and clients have all felt that same contraction before the next big expansion.

I don’t claim to speak for everyone. But I do know what’s true for me.

And I share this because someone once shared their truth with me, and it helped tremendously. It reminded me that the chaos wasn’t wrong. That I wasn’t behind. That growing fast brings up a lot… and there are ways to move through it that feel grounded, strategic, and fully soul-led.

If you’re in that moment now, or just starting to feel it coming, I want you to know:

You’re not alone. It’s normal. And it’s figure-outable.

There are ways to do it that don’t burn you out. That doesn’t require you to sacrifice your boundaries, or your rest, or your essence. There are systems. Teams. Rituals. Tools. Structures that create space for your leadership to flourish.

For me, that came through:

  • An all-in-one platform that truly supported the business

  • A team that matched my energy and values

  • Daily rituals and frequency work that helped keep my nervous system steady

  • And learning how to delegate from discernment, not exhaustion

  • Amazing mentors, coaches, supportive family and friends

  • Many identity shifts

  • Continuous coaching and programs such as NLP, women’s retreats & speaker training

I’m sharing this to help you see what’s possible, and to show you that it doesn’t have to be built under pressure. You can build with ease, flow, structure, and grace.

Although let’s be honest, it is very unlikely to just appear like magic. There will be periods of solid work, more identity shifts and long hours and learning to delegate even when it feels uncomfortable.

Because, if you are like me, since I love what I do, even the hard moments feel purposeful. Because I have a clear vision, and the business is built in alignment, the journey becomes truly enjoyable.

The Invitation

And if you’re like me, if you’re someone who knows they’re meant to build something meaningful, sustainable, and deeply aligned, this is the part that matters most.

I built my business to reflect who I am and where I’m going.

It’s grounded in strategy, supported by systems, and aligned with how I actually want to live and lead.

And I built it to work, to hold growth, serve clients efficiently and beautifully, and give me space to keep evolving.

If you’re carrying a lot right now, spinning plates, juggling delivery, building as you go, I see you.

If you’re feeling like you’re holding too many moving pieces, I see you. And I’ve been you.

Let’s bring clarity to your structure, simplify what’s complicated, and create a system that reflects your future, not just your current load.
